This section of the website is a showcase or display of work done by consumer/ex-consumer/survivor artists and writers. Art & Craft from across the country are displayed in each showcase that remain for three months before changing, giving all an opportunity to display their art. Beginning this quarter, we will begin displaying pillowcases from the “Pillows of Unrest” Projects being done around the country. This display will continue so long as we receive displays from consumer programs, providers and hospitals.
We are grateful to each of the artists who show their art, poetry and writings here and are very proud to be able to display their work. We hope you too, will enjoy viewing the done the artists showcase.
Additionally, we are beginning a display of pillowcase art from the “Pillows of Unrest” project. This display will be an ongoing exhibit of pillowcases from drop-in centers, wellness center, hospitals and other consumer organizations around the country.
If you or your organization would like to show your work here, please let us know. We will even entertain short film clips showing your art or your performance talents. For arranging a display we may be contacted at one of the following e-mails:
We look forward to showing as much consumer/survivor art as possible. We can have as many as three showcases at a time. If you are interested, we will need “jpeg” photos of each piece with title, a brief bio of the artist and if part of an arts organization, a description of the goals and aspirations of the organization and any other description you feel would be helpful to viewers.
